The MENTOR Program is the first phase of BASI®’s “Legacy” Program, Rael’s journey to explore the outer boundaries of the Pilates Method—a journey to be undertaken alongside the most experienced colleagues and students. The Legacy Program, the highest educational achievement within BASI Pilates, consists of four sequential programs: Mentor, Master I, Master II, and Honors. Participants in this unique educational experience will become prepared to carry the Pilates torch forward for future generations of students and teachers.

The MENTOR Program represents the first and essential step of the Legacy pathway, where teachers enter a deeper dimension of the Pilates Method. It is designed for experienced instructors who wish to refine their teaching and study skills at the highest levels of Pilates practice. This is a profound and immersive experience in which students gain insights and knowledge that Rael has acquired over more than four decades of working at the highest levels of the profession and has shared with a select group of BASI Faculty.

The program introduces the Higher Principles, with a focus on refining teaching methodology and expanding advanced repertoire. It represents a significant leap beyond comprehensive teacher training programs and requires dedication, consistency, commitment, and an open mind ready to embrace new perspectives.
