Legacy Program
The Legacy Program is the confluence of the art and science of learning, teaching, and practicing Pilates at the highest level. Designed in its entirety exclusively* by BASI founder Rael Isacowitz, this is a personal and life-changing exploration into the most advanced and diverse repertoire and an exploration of the teaching nuances of the Pilates method. Rael generously shares his vast knowledge, accumulated over four decades, as he guides this unique and enriching journey.

MASTER I 2024 BASI Pilates Headquarter US - with Maria Sylla and Ilaria Pulidori The second phase of the Legacy Program. Continues the journey designed by Rael Isacowitz with further attention to teaching, cueing and progression. The primary thrust is the in-depth exploration of master level repertoire that has seldom been part of any formal comprehensive teacher-training program. This is a 3-day learning experience that includes 18 hours of instruction and learning.

It builds solidly on the repertoire learned in previous programs and expands this repertoire by demonstrating progression and growth. Prerequisites: Completion of the BASI Mentor Program and Master I

The Mentor program is the first phase of the BASI Pilates Legacy Program -Rael’s voyage of discovery to the extreme edges of the Pilates Method with the most accomplished of his colleagues and students. The Legacy Program is the highest achievement within BASI Pilates and consists of 4 individual programs in sequence: Mentor, Master I, Master II and Honors. Graduates of this unique educational experience are well-equipped to carry the torch of Pilates for future generations of students and teachers.

- Pilates for Injuries and Pathologies -16-18 June 2023 Prato – Samantha Wood BASI Associate Faculty750,00€ VAT not includedThis certified three-day course presents an approach to physical therapy for working with clients who have injuries, physical limitations or movement dysfunctions. Focusing primarily on the cervical and lumbar spine, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, and foot, the course covers functional anatomy, biomechanics, and a review of current literature. Specific injuries and conditions are examined, such as disc disease, post-surgical conditions, rotator cuff syndrome, tendinopathies, and osteoarthritis. Students learn about the precautions and / or contraindications for these conditions, as well as exercise options and changes to the original BASI Pilates repertoire. Course participants will learn safe ways to work with clients suffering from some of the most common medical conditions and injuries, through lectures, discussions, demonstrations and practice.
