The Mentor program is the first phase of the BASI Pilates Legacy Program -Rael’s voyage of discovery to the extreme edges of the Pilates Method with the most accomplished of his colleagues and students. The Legacy Program is the highest achievement within BASI Pilates and consists of 4 individual programs in sequence: Mentor, Master I, Master II and Honors. Graduates of this unique educational experience are well-equipped to carry the torch of Pilates for future generations of students and teachers.

The Mentor program represents the fundamental phase of the Legacy Program where teachers enter into a deeper dimension of the Pilates Method. As such, the Mentor Program is for seasoned professionals who want to hone their teaching skills and study at the highest levels of the work. This is a very personal experience, where students receive the skills and lessons learned by Rael over four decades at the peak of his profession and shared with selected teachers.

The Mentor Program introduces the Higher Principles while focus is placed on refinement of teaching methodology and the advanced repertoire. This is a great leap forward from the wide array of comprehensive teacher training programs and requires unwavering dedication, commitment and open-mindedness.
